What you'll do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Data Engineers and Technical Leads.
  • Own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for enterprise data products from planning to production support.
  • Drive engineering best practices including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and automated testing.
  • Translate business capabilities into technical solutions by partnering with stakeholders and data governance teams.
  • Guide the development of cloud-native data solutions using Snowflake, AWS, dbt, and Python.
  • Ensure data products are designed to support AI applications, machine learning, and real-time decision making.
  • Manage operational health including availability, performance, data freshness, and cost optimization.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a technology field.
  • Ten years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or Data Platforms in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Five years of experience leading engineering teams in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud data solutions (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of modern data architectures (preferred).
  • Experience with Agile delivery models (preferred).
  • Proficiency with AWS, Snowflake, Apache Iceberg, Databricks, dbt, Python, Spark, SQL, and Kafka (preferred).
