Senior Lead Software Engineer, Java Full Stack

What you'll do

• Build internet scale applications using Java and frameworks like Spring Boot.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code while reviewing and debugging others' code.
• Drive the adoption of approved AI-assisted engineering practices to improve delivery speed and quality.
• Establish measurable validation standards for AI-generated outputs regarding security, performance, and correctness.
• Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development toolchains like Maven and Git.
• Manage relational databases using SQL while ensuring data integrity constraints.
• Coach senior engineers on responsible AI usage and compliant engineering workflows.
• Design and maintain scalable systems using cloud technologies such as Kubernetes.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced proficiency in Java.
• Demonstrated experience leading the use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools for coding, review, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
• Experience coaching senior engineers or leads on compliant AI usage patterns and controls.
• Proficiency with Spring frameworks, SQL, and relational databases.
• Experience with Maven, Git, Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, TDD, and CI/CD platforms (preferred); Go, JavaScript, and Node.js (preferred).
