You will utilize Java, J2ee, React, Angular, SQL, Git, Bitbucket, Maven, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud. Additionally, you will leverage AWS services, Spark, Python, and Unix to develop microservices and REST APIs while addressing challenges in the risk asset domain.

What you'll do

Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform peer code reviews and debugging.

Drive the adoption and governance of AI-assisted engineering practices across multiple teams.
Establish measurable validation standards for secure coding, automated testing, and peer reviews.
Influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations processes.
Serve as a subject matter expert to advocate for firmwide frameworks and SDLC tools.
Promote the use of leading-edge technologies and automation within the development toolchain.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Advanced skills in programming languages including Java, J2ee, React, and Angular.
Experience with Relational Databases, SQL, GIT, Bitbucket, and Maven.
Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools for coding, review, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, and secure handling in engineering workflows.
Advanced knowledge of agile methodologies including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
Practical cloud native experience with AWS services, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
