What you'll do

Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews and debugging for other team members.
Design and influence the architecture, functionality, and technical operations of customer-facing digital products.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, contractors, and vendors to improve delivery quality.
Lead evaluation sessions with internal teams and external vendors to assess architectural designs and technical credentials.
Drive the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Provision and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code modules using Terraform for scalable and auditable AWS deployments.
Advocate for and implement firmwide software development life cycle frameworks, tools, and best practices.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as React/ReactJS, Redux, Angular/AngularJS, ExtJS, JQuery, or NodeJS.
Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, RDS Postgres, or other relational databases.
Experience leading and mentoring junior engineers through technical guidance and code reviews.
Hands-on experience with infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and developing Infrastructure-as-Code modules.
Practical cloud-native experience in AWS.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and coaching engineers on responsible AI use.
