What you'll do

Develop secure, high-quality production code while reviewing and debugging code written by other engineers.
Design and implement scalable system architectures that ensure application performance and reliability.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers to improve delivery quality and team velocity.
Lead the evaluation of architectural designs and technical credentials for internal systems and external vendor solutions.
Drive the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and development speed.
Manage infrastructure provisioning using Terraform to create repeatable, scalable, and auditable deployments in AWS.
Advocate for firmwide frameworks and tools while influencing decisions on leading-edge technologies.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as React/ReactJS, Redux, Angular/AngularJS, ExtJS, JQuery, or NodeJS.
Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, RDS Postgres, or other relational databases.
Experience leading and mentoring junior engineers through technical guidance and code reviews.
Hands-on experience with infrastructure provisioning using Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code modules.
Practical cloud native experience in AWS.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools while ensuring security and data sensitivity.
