What you'll do

Design Java solutions specifically for modernizing legacy applications.
Write well-designed, testable code using standard libraries like Spring and Guava.
Perform technical coding activities as the primary daily responsibility.
Participate in peer code reviews to ensure quality and standards.
Solve complex technical problems and provide guidance to other team members.
Integrate new libraries and perform solution customizations for project requirements.
Execute automation tasks and support additional language modernization projects.

What we're looking for

7+ years of experience in Java Development.
Experience with Java libraries including Spring Framework, Guava, Apache Commons, Guice, JPA, and EMF.
Knowledge of SQL, ORM, and relational databases.
Practical skills in CI/CD tools such as Git, Maven, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, and Jira.
Good command of Test-Driven Development.
Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
Experience with compilation technologies, ANTLR, XText, Cloud, Kubernetes, Performance Tuning, MVS, COBOL, or JCL (preferred).
