Senior Java Application Developer

What you'll do

• Lead the analysis, design, development, and maintenance of complex enterprise software applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, system, and performance issues in a distributed environment.
• Design and implement system enhancements, refactoring efforts, and modernization initiatives.
• Research and implement solutions for performance monitoring, tuning, scalability, and system configuration.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites and quality assurance practices.
• Contribute to technical design decisions and architectural planning for complex projects.
• Provide accurate effort estimations and identify technical risks to plan delivery milestones.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to associate and mid-level developers.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 9+ years of hands-on application development experience with strong expertise in Java in a distributed system.
• Advanced proficiency in object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Proven expertise in modern software paradigms including web/backend development, microservices, cloud computing, TDD, and DDD.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills.
• Experience with performance-critical, scalable systems (preferred).
• Experience in Microsoft Office products (preferred).
