You must possess deep domain knowledge of drug discovery lifecycles to solve technical challenges within the pharmaceutical research space.

What you'll do

Translate scientific workflows into actionable digital requirements for Sample and Reagent Management systems.
Build, prototype, and validate technical solutions using low-code/no-code platforms and scripting (Python, SQL).
Identify and implement AI and Generative AI opportunities to automate workflows and accelerate research discovery.
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT capabilities, including requirement elicitation, user story creation, and UAT.
Develop business cases for new digital investments by identifying and measuring potential outcomes.
Oversee junior IT Business Analysts and consultants in the delivery of technical capabilities.
Act as a domain expert to bridge the gap between bench scientists and IT development teams.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in a relevant Life Sciences or Technical discipline.
5+ years of progressive IT experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences environments.
Direct hands-on experience with Sample Management and/or Reagent Management processes and systems.
Demonstrated ability to elicit, document, and manage requirements including user stories and process maps.
Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies applied to SDLC and IT services.
Proficiency in SQL and/or Python for data querying, analysis, or lightweight scripting.
Experience with scientific inventory and Reagent platforms (preferred).
Experience with low-code/no-code platforms, GenAI tools, or overseeing junior staff (preferred).
