Senior IS Analyst, Compliance Operations

What you'll do

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for the Microsoft 365 Purview Compliance Portal.
• Manage user permissions and corporate retention policies within the MS Purview environment.
• Support eDiscovery cases and surveillance policies for communication compliance.
• Maintain and monitor data archiving connectors, including third-party integrations into Office 365.
• Develop automation improvements to ensure system performance, monitoring accuracy, and service resiliency.
• Document and execute requested changes and process designs for the compliance infrastructure.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve technical issues related to compliance tools.
• Manage Microsoft 365 compliance licensing as required by the organization.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience.
• At least 3 years of industry experience working with financial institutions and their regulatory requirements for communications retention.
• Expertise in Microsoft 365, specifically the Microsoft 365 Purview Compliance Portal and related data feeds.
• Experience supporting and configuring the Microsoft 365 Purview Compliance Center.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Azure Automation Runbook, or Logic Apps.
• Experience working with at least one of the financial services industry's major regulatory data archive vendors.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, ServiceNow, and other database concepts.
• General understanding of FINRA regulations and compliance requirements.
