Senior Incident Manager

As a Senior Incident Manager for the Apple Wallet team, you will serve as a senior individual contributor responsible for leading and improving the incident response program. You will act as an Incident Commander during high-severity events, managing the end-to-end lifecycle from initial declaration through mitigation while ensuring clear communication to engineering, leadership, and external partners. Your daily work involves mobilizing teams, making decisive calls under pressure, and conducting post-incident reviews to identify systemic improvements in partnership with Problem Management. You will refine response playbooks, escalation paths, and observability workflows. The role requires technical fluency in production services, experience with incident tooling like PagerDuty and Slack automation, and a background in site reliability engineering or technical program management. You will solve complex problems within the high-availability payments infrastructure to protect the user experience.
