As a Senior IC Validation Engineer, you will join the IC Validation team to ensure storage and PCIe switch silicon products meet industry standards and operate correctly in intended applications. You will work within a lab environment alongside hardware and software development departments during pre- and post-silicon validation cycles. Your daily responsibilities include constructing and executing robust test plans on emulation platforms and prototype silicon, developing C/C++ based embedded firmware and host software tools, and writing Python scripts to automate validation equipment. You will also perform system-level debugging using logic analyzers and protocol analyzers while collaborating with board development teams on reference designs. The role requires expertise in ARM architecture, Linux environments, and PCIe protocols including LTSSM and configuration space formats. You will resolve complex technical issues and provide technical information to internal teams and external customers.
