What you'll do

Construct, review, and execute robust validation test plans on emulation platforms and prototype silicon.
Develop C/C++ based embedded firmware and host software tools for low-level system validation.
Develop test scripts to control protocol exercisers and automate various validation tools and equipment.
Drive technical debug and resolution of issues encountered at the complete system level.
Work with the board development team on validation and reference board designs and new product requirements.
Work with external customers on initial silicon bring-up and system-level integration/troubleshooting.
Educate Field Application Engineers on new product features and operations.
Work with the Technical Publications group on engineering notes, data sheets, and architectural manuals.

What we're looking for

Legal authorization to work in the US.
Minimum 3+ years of industry experience with a Master’s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering.
Minimum 5+ years of industry experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering.
Experience developing and debugging C/C++ based code, with an emphasis on embedded FW and system drivers/host applications (preferred).
Experience developing and debugging automated test scripts written in Python.
Working knowledge of ARM architecture and firmware programming (preferred).
Practical experience in system level debug utilizing FW debuggers, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
PCIe (Gen3/4/5) protocol experience including knowledge of LTSSM, system enumeration, and configuration space format (preferred).
