Senior Hydraulics Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead the development of hydraulic components from initial concept through to full production.
• Collaborate with suppliers to develop and validate new hydraulic components for New Product Introduction programs.
• Evaluate new products and technologies to improve design, cost, and performance.
• Provide technical expertise to support Continuous Product Improvement and resolve field issues.
• Support Advanced Product Quality Planning activities to meet time, cost, and quality requirements.
• Manage project timelines including FMEA assessment, prototype development, lab testing, and machine validation.
• Mentor junior engineers and manage multiple competing priorities within the engineering team.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Knowledge of product design and development from concept through to production.
• Technical excellence in developing and providing solutions to significant technical challenges.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, and priorities.
• Effective communication skills to transmit and interpret ideas, information, and needs.
• Analytical thinking skills to determine root causes and create alternative solutions.
• Hydraulic skills and experience in mobile machinery on components and/or systems (preferred).
• Hydraulic component or system development experience for valves, pumps, or motors (preferred).
