What you'll do

Develop, implement, and test algorithms for guidance, navigation, and control systems based on project requirements.
Design and assess GNC architectures including vehicle components, sensors, actuators, and software algorithms.
Participate in all development phases from initial concept and design to prototyping, testing, and operation.
Use simulation and analysis tools to verify GNC models under various operating conditions.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to GNC systems during the design, testing, and operational phases.
Provide system engineering expertise to ensure a cohesive approach to GNC design and implementation.
Contribute to formal design reviews, safety assessments, and comprehensive system documentation.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
8 or more years of experience in Guidance, Navigation & Control engineering or related technical experience.
Strong theoretical knowledge of classical and modern control theory, estimation, and filtering techniques.
Exceptional understanding of flight dynamics for both VTOL and CTOL aircraft.
Experience developing GNC solutions for flight systems and tools for linear analysis of dynamic systems.
Proficiency with GNC simulation tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, and 6-DOF simulations.
Ability to travel up to 25% for work requirements.
Eligible to obtain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
