What you'll do

  • Design and implement significant components of the GPU graphics compiler.
  • Perform performance analysis to design and implement new compiler optimizations.
  • Solve complex compilation problems for state-of-the-art GPU technologies.
  • Contribute to open-source projects including LLVM and the DXC HLSL compiler.
  • Propose, design, and implement SPIR-V extensions as a representative of NVIDIA in Khronos.
  • Participate in and contribute to the future development of the SPIR-V standard.

What we're looking for

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is required, with a PhD strongly preferred.
  • Candidates must have 8+ years of experience and a strong background in compilers.
  • Strong C/C++ programming skills are required.
  • A deep understanding of parallel programming models is required.
  • Experience with compiler optimizations and LLVM infrastructure is required.
  • Experience developing CUDA, DirectX, or OpenGL/Vulkan applications is preferred.
  • Background in developing compiler optimizations and code generation for GPUs is preferred.
  • Ability to perform code generation and build a robust compiler framework is preferred.
