Senior GIS Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop, test, and maintain robust full-stack applications using C#, .NET, React, and modern JavaScript.
• Design and implement complex geospatial data pipelines, geocoding services, and matching systems.
• Resolve high-complexity problems involving record reconciliation across systems with differing identifiers and data models.
• Integrate AI capabilities, including LLMs and automated tools, to improve products and development practices.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications while building shared capabilities for multiple platforms.
• Lead medium-sized projects and serve as a technical authority in the geospatial and enterprise data space.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead knowledge-sharing sessions to increase team velocity.
• Build scalable geocoding and matching capabilities that can be adopted across the entire enterprise.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, IT, geography/GIS, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with full stack expertise in React and C#/.NET.
• Experience in geospatial data processing, mapping libraries, spatial databases, and location-based services.
• Hands-on experience with geocoding frameworks, record matching, and deduplication at scale.
• Proficiency in integrating AI capabilities, including LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI coding assistants.
• Experience with a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work independently on complex problems and mentor less experienced engineers.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
