What you'll do

Build FPGA prototypes by performing synthesis, place and route, timing analysis, and bitstream generation.
Bring up designs on FPGA prototyping platforms using hardware and software debuggers.
Perform hands-on lab debugging to isolate issues between the hardware platform and the programmed design.
Use specialized hardware diagnostics and tools like oscilloscopes or logic analyzers to troubleshoot systems.
Release prototypes to customers and provide technical support for issues they encounter.
Coordinate with verification engineers, software teams, and technicians to complete prototyping tasks.

What we're looking for

BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields with 7+ years of experience in FPGA prototyping.
MS degree with 5+ years of proven experience in FPGA prototyping.
Strong understanding of FPGA prototyping hardware architecture, flows, and tools.
Experience performing hands-on FPGA prototyping lab tasks and managing lab technicians.
Proficiency in backend flows including Synthesis, P&R, and Timing closure using Synopsys Protocompiler and Xilinx Vivado.
Hands-on experience with lab FPGA debug methodologies, tools (Identify/ChipScope), and equipment like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
Experience with prototyping high-performance processors or SOCs on platforms like Synopsys HAPS is a plus.
Ability to independently and collaboratively triage and root-cause complex issues in a fast-paced environment.
