Senior Field Engineer

What you'll do

• Analyze field data including DTCs, warranty claims, and test logs to create actionable resolution plans for vehicle issues.
• Identify, prioritize, and track hardware, software, and system-level defects using internal dashboards and quality workflows.
• Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor test results, failure trends, and warranty performance across global programs.
• Apply AI tools and automation to streamline data triage, issue detection, and the standardization of QRD workflows.
• Manage both short-term containment actions and long-term corrective actions for mechatronic hardware and embedded control systems.
• Forecast quality and warranty performance targets while tracking progress against established commitments.
• Coordinate software-bench and vehicle-test automation to improve issue reproduction and validation confidence.
• Represent the engineering team in escalation forums and cross-functional meetings to drive issues to resolution.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience with vehicle mechatronic systems, ECUs, embedded controls, automotive hardware, and software.
• Experience with software release cadence, OTA systems, software benches, and vehicle testing.
• Experience analyzing warranty, DTC, PHM, test-log, or field-performance data.
• Experience developing or using dashboards to monitor test results, failures, and quality trends.
• Experience with software-bench or vehicle-test automation.
• Experience leading cross-functional issue-resolution efforts from problem identification through corrective-action closure.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools, automation, or analytics used to improve engineering analysis and data triage.
