The Senior Engineering Support Specialist joins the team to support the Nosis and STRMS Programs, focusing on technologies that facilitate training, qualification, and proficiency for defense and intelligence services. This role involves performing research, data transfers, troubleshooting, installations, and engineering laboratory functions including the layout, building, testing, fielding, and repairing of Nosis and Nosis Cloud software, devices, systems, and third-party applications. The position requires expertise in Linux Server Administration, Oracle and MSSQL database operation, and experience with VBScript, JavaScript, Windows Scripting, WBEM, .NET, and JBOSS. Candidates should possess skills in cloud computing, including Kubernetes, Docker, Podman, VMware, or Hyper-V. The role addresses the technical challenge of providing lab, onboard, and distance support for fleet customers to ensure they can execute high-stakes national security missions using advanced software and cloud services systems.

What we're looking for
U.S. citizenship is required.
Must possess a Department of Defense Secret security clearance at time of hire.
Requires a Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience plus 2 years of relevant work experience; or a Master's degree.
Must have Linux experience.
Proficiency in engineering principles, concepts, practices, and standards is required.
Ability to complete all requirements for DoD 8570 Certification within 6 months.
Experience with Oracle and MSSQL Database operation and maintenance.
Experience with VBScript, JavaScript, Windows Scripting, WBEM, .NET, JBOSS; Linux certification (preferred); Cloud Computing or administration experience (preferred).
