Senior Engineering Manager, iOS Video Applications

What you'll do

• Lead, grow, and support a team of senior iOS engineers through mentorship and career development.
• Set technical and quality standards for architectural coherence, maintainability, and performance across the iOS codebase.
• Coach engineers on the effective and responsible use of AI-assisted development tools and agentic workflows.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering leaders to shape product strategy and make scope decisions.
• Guide the team in balancing user impact, development velocity, and long-term technical health.
• Create a safe-to-experiment culture by validating assumptions early and learning from real user feedback.
• Represent the iOS team in organization-level planning to advocate for technical excellence and investment.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of experience shipping Apple applications, including complex, production-scale iOS products.
• Experience managing and growing teams of senior engineers, including hiring, performance management, coaching, and career development.
• Technical fluency in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and the iOS SDK.
• Ability to review and influence architectural decisions even when not coding daily.
• Product instincts and UX sensibility, including familiarity with Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools at a team level to set workflows and guardrails.
• Clear communication skills to translate between technical, product, and design perspectives.
• Experience evolving engineering processes on growing teams (preferred).
