Senior Engineering Manager, iOS Video Applications

What you'll do

• Lead, grow, and support a team of senior iOS engineers through coaching and career development.
• Establish technical standards for architectural coherence, maintainability, and performance across the iOS codebase.
• Coach engineers on using AI-assisted development tools and agentic workflows to improve speed and quality.
• Partner with Product and Design leaders to shape product strategy and make informed scope decisions.
• Translate complex technical requirements into clear execution plans for the engineering team.
• Foster a safe-to-experiment culture by validating assumptions early and incorporating user feedback.
• Represent the iOS team in organizational planning to advocate for technical excellence and investment.

What we're looking for

• You must have 10+ years of experience shipping Apple applications with a focus on production-scale iOS products.
• You must have experience managing and growing teams of senior engineers, including hiring and performance management.
• You must possess technical fluency in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and the iOS SDK.
• You must be able to guide architectural decisions and set standards for code quality and performance.
• You must have experience using AI-assisted development tools at a team level to establish workflows and guardrails.
• You must demonstrate product instincts and familiarity with Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
• You should have an understanding of mobile video editing workflows or the drive to learn them quickly.
• Experience evolving engineering processes for growing teams is preferred.
