Senior Engineering Manager

What you'll do

• Lead a team of engineers to build and scale the Cloudforce One Threat Events platform.
• Provide architectural direction and ensure operational excellence for high-performance threat intelligence APIs.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of threat intelligence data from ingestion to automated mitigation.
• Drive the professional development and career growth of direct reports through mentorship and coaching.
• Collaborate with product managers and security researchers to transform complex data into automated customer experiences.
• Lead hiring efforts to expand engineering capabilities for next-generation agentic threat intelligence tools.
• Manage technical debt and ensure systems meet strict latency and reliability requirements for enterprise security.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to address technical issues outside of standard working hours.

What we're looking for

• Must be authorized to receive software or technology controlled under U.S. export control laws.
• 8+ years of software development experience with a focus on Go, JavaScript, or distributed systems (preferred).
• 8+ years of experience leading high-performing engineering teams for large-scale distributed security platforms (preferred).
• Experience building high-performance APIs or platforms for threat intelligence, security operations, or large-scale data analytics (preferred).
• Experience with AI-assisted development and agentic AI workflows (preferred).
• Experience with edge computing, SQL-at-the-edge, and building systems that scale to trillions of signals (preferred).
• Understanding of the Cyber Kill Chain and automating the ingestion and distribution of IOCs (preferred).
• Strong mentorship and coaching skills to support the career growth of engineers in a specialized security domain (preferred).
