Senior Engineer - Software/Info Platform - SAP BTP joins the Software & Information Platforms team to architect, govern, and optimize the enterprise SAP cloud landscape. This role involves managing BTP account and subaccount structures, ensuring high availability, and enforcing robust security frameworks across global accounts. You will perform daily administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of complex BTP services while managing integration performance and infrastructure layer designs. Key responsibilities include overseeing Cloud Foundry and Kyma environments, managing CI/CD pipelines, and handling identity management via IAS/IPS. The role requires expertise in SAP Integration Suite, API Management, and advanced security protocols like OAuth 2.0 and SAML 2.0. You will utilize tools such as Terraform, BTP CLI, and Cloud ALM to maintain platform performance while ensuring seamless integration between S/4 systems and various business process management frameworks.
Architect, govern, and optimize the enterprise SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) cloud landscape.
Manage BTP account structures, including subaccount management, entitlement planning, and quota management.
Perform daily administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of BTP services and applications.
Implement and maintain high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and security frameworks across global accounts.
Configure and manage integration components including SAP Integration Suite, API Management, and Cloud Connectors.
Manage identity and access management using IAS/IPS, role collections, and security protocols like OAuth 2.0 and SAML.
Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation for troubleshooting and system maintenance.
Partner with architecture and application teams to select products and manage platform roadmap requirements.
What we're looking for
Experience with SAP BTP for at least 3 years.
10+ years in SAP Basis or enterprise cloud platform administration (preferred).
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience (preferred).
Hands-on knowledge of BTP Service deployment, Cloud Foundry spaces, BTP cockpit capabilities, destination configurations, AI Services on BTP, and CI/CD pipelines.
Infrastructure as a code via Terraform, BTP CLI, and Cloud Foundry CLI (preferred).
Familiarity with identity management (IAS/IPS), security protocols, and zero-trust architecture (preferred).
Familiarity with BTP AI offerings including AIcore/AI Launchpad, AI A2A Protocols, Joule, J4D, and J4C (preferred).
Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite, API Management, Destination configurations, and Event Mesh (preferred); SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP BTP Provisioning and Administration (preferred).
