As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer within the Cyber group, you will join a cross-functional team developing mission-critical, NSA-certified cybersecurity devices. You will work with custom in-house hardware to build products at the intersection of cybersecurity and high-speed data. Your daily responsibilities include translating concepts of operations and requirements into software designs, code, and test plans while managing long development lifecycles and technology refreshes. The role requires expertise in real-time embedded software, preferably on Linux OS, using systems programming languages like C/C++ or Rust. You will also work with concurrent programming, heterogeneous computing systems, ARMv8 architecture, serial communication protocols, hardware interfaces, device drivers, and computer networking. What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related STEM field plus 8 years of experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of experience.
Active Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
U.S. citizenship is required.
Experience with Real-Time Embedded software, preferably on Linux OS (preferred).
Experience developing in systems programming languages like C/C++, with Rust experience preferred (preferred).
Extensive experience with software design, code, integration, and test.
Experience with heterogeneous computing systems, SELinux, ARMv8 architecture, serial communication protocols, hardware interfaces, device drivers, or computer networking (preferred).
Proficiency with tools for IDEs, version control, defect tracking, and scripting.
