Senior Engineer, Construction Management

What you'll do

• Manage multiple concurrent projects while ensuring they meet specific cost, scope, and schedule targets.
• Develop execution strategies including procurement and the integration of financial data with technical requirements.
• Oversee design work performed by both internal staff and external consultants.
• Analyze complex interdisciplinary problems to identify impacts and determine solutions based on business needs.
• Identify customer needs and propose product or service modifications to address them.
• Use project management tools like Cash Flow Projections and Scope Control to maintain budget limits.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of other engineers and technicians.
• Ensure all projects comply with applicable codes, regulations, policies, and procedures.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related field (preferred).
• Post-graduate education or equivalent technical experience is desired.
• 5+ years of significant engineering and/or operational experience are desired.
• Demonstrated competency within a specific discipline with strong technical knowledge of concepts and procedures.
• Experience in laboratory life science, healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceutical, or biologics industries (preferred).
• Demonstrated competency with financial systems and fiscal control.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse groups of architects and engineers in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to negotiate and reconcile differences while communicating tactfully.
