What you'll do

Develop embedded software modules for satellite and ground systems using C, C++, Rust, or Assembly.
Design and implement a 3GPP 5G NTN and Open RAN based networking and management stack.
Build test frameworks to validate the operation and performance of the satellite communication software stack.
Execute all phases of the SDLC including requirements gathering, system design, coding, and testing.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues using schematics, logic analyzers, and wireless signal analysis.
Optimize low-latency, high-reliability payload connectivity solutions in collaboration with RF and silicon teams.
Manage and maintain real-time embedded systems operating on Linux or RTOS platforms.

What we're looking for

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
7+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
7+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
Expertise in Linux, RTOS, and real-time embedded software development.
Proficiency in assembly, C, C++, or Rust for 3GPP 5G/O-RAN protocols.
