What you'll do

Lead the design and development of high-speed digital Circuit Card Assemblies from concept through production.
Derive hardware requirements and develop design concepts for microprocessors, FPGAs, and power regulators.
Perform signal integrity analysis and simulations to optimize high-speed data paths.
Capture detailed schematics using CAD tools and collaborate on layout and routing for printed wiring boards.
Test and verify electronic assemblies and support firmware and software integration.
Create requirements specifications, design documents, and comprehensive test plans and procedures.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex design issues using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
Provide technical guidance and conduct design reviews for junior engineers.

What we're looking for

BSEE with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience specializing in high-speed digital CCA board design.
Proven track record of successful high-speed digital design projects.
Proficient in debugging and testing high-speed digital circuits using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other test equipment.
Extensive experience with schematic capture and PCB layout for high-speed digital circuits.
Understanding of standard electronic interfaces such as I2C, USB, RS-232, Ethernet, SATA, and PCIe.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Must have a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
MSEE preferred; experience with Mentor Graphics Xpedition preferred; basic programming in Python, C, or MATLAB a plus.
