As a Senior Electrical Engineer on our autonomous vehicle team, you will design and test Battery Management Systems (BMS) for our vehicles, including system interconnect diagrams and wire harnesses. You’ll be responsible for the complete lifecycle of BMS from concept to production, conducting lab, ground, and flight tests to ensure reliability. This role requires a strong background in circuit design, mixed-signal systems, and experience with interfaces like CAN, I2C, SPI, as well as EMI testing. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of power electronics and military standards such as MIL-STD-810 and 461, adding depth to their expertise in the automotive or aerospace industry.

What you'll do

  • Design, test, and validate Battery Management Systems (BMS) for autonomous vehicles.
  • Develop system interconnect diagrams and define wire harnesses connecting electronic equipment.

  • Conduct lab, ground, and flight tests on engine system components.
  • Troubleshoot complex board designs and perform EMI testing.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of experience.
  • Strong background in circuit design, including mixed-signal systems and components.
  • Experience designing Battery Management Systems (BMS) or working in the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in power electronics, converter design, and UAS system integration.
  • Familiarity with standard interfaces such as CAN, I2C, SPI, etc., and EMI testing.
  • Secret security clearance required.
