What you'll do

Conduct end-to-end testing of fiber optic cables using OTDR, power meters, and other specialized tools.
Provide technical expertise for the design, implementation, and maintenance of wired network infrastructure.
Lead small implementation teams and manage specific work scopes for assigned site locations.
Mentor junior engineers by providing guidance on equipment, troubleshooting solutions, and reviewing their work.
Coordinate with government points of contact to manage project logistics including access, personnel, and equipment.
Update network as-built documentation and records based on splicing and testing results.
Serve as the primary network engineering liaison during customer meetings and with external vendors.
Develop technical project plans, proposals, and reports for distribution systems (ISP/OSP).

What we're looking for

Must be a United States citizen.
Ability to obtain and maintain an interim Secret Level Clearance.
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
5+ years of experience in DS Engineering, ideally in a DOW environment on IT upgrade projects.
Proficiency in cabling, network infrastructures, network systems, and wireless networks.
Familiarity with fiber testing, distribution systems (ISP/OSP) design, and wired/general IT functions.
Experience using MS Visio or related CAD tools (preferred).
Security Clearance Level: Ability to obtain and maintain an interim Secret Level Clearance.
