What you'll do

Conduct end-to-end testing of fiber optic cables using OTDR, power meters, and other specialized tools.
Provide technical expertise for the design, implementation, and sustainment of wired network functionality.
Lead small implementation teams and manage specific work scopes for assigned site locations.
Coordinate with government points of contact to manage project logistics, including access, personnel, and equipment.
Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to less experienced field engineers and team members.
Update network as-built documentation and records based on splicing and testing results.
Serve as the primary network engineering liaison for customer meetings and stakeholder communications.
Develop technical project plans, proposals, and reports to ensure quality assurance of deliverables.

What we're looking for

Must be a United States citizen.
Must possess an active Secret security clearance.
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree required.
5+ years of experience in DS Engineering, ideally in a DOW environment on IT upgrade projects.
Proficiency in cabling, network infrastructures, network systems, and wireless networks.
Familiarity with fiber testing, distribution systems (ISP/OSP) design, and wired/general IT functions.
Experience using MS Visio or related CAD tools (preferred).
US Citizenship.
