The SENIOR DIRECTOR OF IDENTITY leads the enterprise Identity Security strategy and operations for Compass Group across North America. This leader manages identity lifecycle management, access operations, cloud identity, privileged access, and ERP security for platforms including SAP and JDE. The role involves modernizing traditional access administration into a risk-based security capability, focusing on Identity Security Posture Management and SOX-relevant applications. Key responsibilities include defining the roadmap, managing vendor relationships, and leading a high-performing team across governance and engineering. The position requires expertise in Microsoft Entra, Active Directory, Google Cloud Identity, CyberArk, and Pathlock. Technical skills include IGA, PAM, RBAC/ABAC, Zero Trust, SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SCIM, FIDO2, and Conditional Access. The role addresses the challenge of securing complex identity landscapes across multi-cloud environments while ensuring robust compliance and seamless user experience.
Define and execute the enterprise Identity Security strategy, roadmap, operating model, and risk-reduction objectives.
Manage identity lifecycle processes including joiner/mover/leaver workflows, provisioning, and entitlement governance.
Oversee cloud identity across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms to manage authentication and authorization.
Establish controls for privileged access management (PAM) and non-human identities like service accounts.
Expand ERP security capabilities for SAP, JDE, and other SOX-relevant applications.
Build and lead a high-performing Identity Security organization across governance, engineering, and operations.
Manage the identity technology roadmap and strategic relationships with key vendors and service providers.
Drive automation and integration across identity platforms, HR systems, and cloud environments.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
10+ years of progressive Identity, IAM, or Cybersecurity experience.
5+ years leading enterprise identity teams or programs in a large, complex organization.
Demonstrated experience leading enterprise identity transformation across IGA, lifecycle management, authentication/federation, privileged access, cloud identity, and access operations.
Experience with ERP security and controls, preferably SAP and/or JDE, including role design, Segregation of Duties, and SOX requirements.
Proven experience managing technology vendors, service providers, budgets, roadmaps, and executive stakeholders.
CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, or similar security/identity certification (preferred).
Working knowledge of AWS IAM, Azure/Entra, Google Cloud IAM, SAP Security/GRC, JDE Security, ServiceNow, and API/script-based identity automation (preferred).
