The Senior Director – Observability | SRE is a strategic leader responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of the enterprise technology ecosystem. This role oversees Observability, Site Reliability Engineering, Visibility, and Live Sight Insights to drive operational excellence through automation, process discipline, and real-time insights. The individual will define the enterprise strategy, lead transformation for unified observability, and manage the Mission Control organization to provide predictive intelligence on service health across ecommerce, fulfillment centers, and stores. Key responsibilities include establishing standards for availability, latency, and scalability while fostering a culture of data-driven decision making. The role requires expertise in ITIL frameworks, SRE principles, architecture, cloud operations, and automation. This position solves the critical problem of maintaining seamless digital and in-store experiences by proactively reducing mean time to resolve through advanced monitoring and infrastructure management.
