Our objective is to maximize developer productivity by enabling streamlined workflows, robust source control management, intelligent automation, and the promotion of modern engineering best practices.

As a Sr. Staff Engineer, you'll lead the evolution and modernization of our GitHub infrastructure in collaboration with other engineering platform teams to create a seamless, AI-augmented developer experience.

What You'll Do

• Lead the evolution of our GitHub Enterprise infrastructure, focusing on modernization, scalability, and the adoption of advanced platform capabilities.
• Architect and implement config-as-code solutions (e.g., Terraform) to manage GitHub organizations, repositories, permissions, and policies at scale.
• Administer and optimize our GitHub Enterprise environment, ensuring reliability and performance for all engineering teams.
• Evaluate and enable GitHub's AI-powered development tools, including GitHub Copilot, Agent HQ, and emerging capabilities that enhance developer productivity and code quality.
• Develop and drive adoption of best practices for source control management, repository structure, branching strategies, and GitHub workflows across the organization.
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and engineering teams to establish governance policies and automation for our GitHub Enterprise platform.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support our build and deploy systems.
• Provide technical guidance, documentation, and training to help teams adopt new GitHub capabilities and workflows effectively.
• Monitor and improve the performance, reliability, and usability of our source control platform, incorporating feedback from users across the organization.

Who You Are

• You have 7+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on build engineering, CI/CD, and platform administration.
• You have significant hands-on experience administering and managing GitHub Enterprise Server in production environments, including upgrades, performance tuning, high availability configurations, and troubleshooting.
• You have experience with GitHub Enterprise Cloud, including organization management, security configurations, and platform administration (highly desirable).
• You are proficient with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform) and have experience managing platform configurations declaratively.
• You have deep expertise in Git and source control best practices, including experience guiding large organizations through Git workflow improvements.
• You are proficient with modern CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Artifactory, and related DevOps tooling.
• You have experience with Docker and Kubernetes in large-scale production environments.
• You're well-versed in major cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, etc.) and have a track record of leading infrastructure migrations at scale.
• You have significant experience leading complex, multi-team projects in distributed environments, with strong stakeholder management skills.
• You are passionate about developer experience and thrive on making complex workflows simpler, faster, and more reliable.

About the Role

In this role, you will lead the strategy, design, and delivery of security engineering solutions that protect the company's assets, infrastructure, and software supply chain. You will manage a team of security and DevOps engineers, driving a culture of security-first delivery across Cloud Security, CI/CD Pipeline Security, Product Security and Infrastructure Security. You will partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Leadership to set direction and ensure the business ships software with speed and confidence.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of information security solutions across Cloud Security, Infrastructure Security & Product Security.
• Own the security strategy for CI/CD pipelines, including automated testing, SAST/DAST scanning, dependency checks, and secrets detection — providing technical advisory and governance across hybrid, multi-cloud environments.
• Drive cloud security posture management, runtime protection, and code security through industry-leading cloud security and edge protection capabilities, ensuring continuous compliance and risk reduction.
• Define and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices that balance delivery speed with a strong security posture, in alignment with regulatory and legal requirements.
• Lead automation initiatives across cloud security processes, reducing manual effort and improving consistency at scale.
• Oversee API security standards and runtime protection across services and microservices architectures.
• Manage infrastructure security controls using infrastructure-as-code and container orchestration tooling, in line with container security best practices.
• Anticipate operational and program risks, developing preventative measures and driving rapid incident response across environments.
• Translate functional security requirements into technical roadmaps, guiding your team from strategy through to execution.
• Define, track, and communicate security metrics and key performance indicators — creating actionable insights from data to inform prioritization, demonstrate delivery effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships with product and engineering squads, embedding security into development workflows and acting as a trusted security advisor at the leadership level.

Who You Are

• A proven leader with hands-on depth in DevSecOps or security engineering, and the ability to inspire, grow, and manage a high-performing team.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of infrastructure security practices, concepts, and technologies, with proficiency across cloud security capabilities and modern security methodologies.
• Experience governing CI/CD pipelines and authoring configuration management and deployment tooling across modern CI/CD platforms.
• Strong scripting and development skills across languages such as Python, Bash, Go, or Java.
• Solid understanding of cloud security concepts including network segmentation and secrets management across major cloud providers.
• Experience anticipating operational risks and driving preventative measures across complex, fast-moving engineering environments.
• A confident communicator who can translate security priorities to developers, stakeholders, and executives alike.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning capabilities as applied to DevSecOps and infrastructure management — including AI-assisted threat detection, anomaly detection, intelligent vulnerability triage, and the use of AI-powered tooling to enhance security automation and operational insight — is considered a strong advantage.
• Background in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent practical experience.

About the Role

The Senior Director - Reliability Operations, is a strategic leader accountable for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of the enterprise technology ecosystem. This role oversees all ITIL-based service management functions, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), the ServiceNow Platform, Mission Control, and Live Sight Insights.

This leader drives operational excellence through a proactive reliability strategy that combines process discipline, automation, observability, and real-time insights. They will partner closely with engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and product teams to build and sustain resilient systems that power Gap Inc.’s digital and in-store experiences.

As a thought leader, the Sr. Director will shape the long-term vision for operational reliability and service management—defining modern capabilities, optimizing service performance, and establishing an innovation-driven reliability culture.

What You'll Do

Strategic Leadership & Vision

• Define and execute the enterprise Reliability Operations strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology roadmaps.
• Lead transformation of ITIL functions into agile, data-driven service management capabilities across incident, problem, change, and configuration management.
• Partner with senior technology and business leaders to embed reliability and performance metrics into product development and operational planning.

Operational Excellence & Reliability Engineering

• Lead Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices across platforms and services—driving automation, self-healing capabilities, and proactive monitoring to achieve measurable service resiliency improvements.
• Establish standards for availability, latency, scalability, and operational efficiency through engineering-driven reliability principles.

Mission Control & LiveSight Insights

• Oversee the Mission Control organization responsible for real-time system monitoring, incident command, and critical event management.
• Drive adoption of Live Sight Insights to create predictive and actionable intelligence on service health and performance trends.
• Enable enterprise visibility of key metrics through intuitive dashboards and business-impact-based alerting models.

ServiceNow Governance Ownership

• Own the ServiceNow Platform governance strategy and roadmap, ensuring it enables ITIL process excellence, automation, and collaboration on cross-enterprise workflow integration.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to provide industry best practices for ServiceNow’s capabilities including IT, HR, Security, and Enterprise Operations.
• Lead a platform governance mindset—focusing on reliability, scalability, and ease of use.

People Leadership & Culture

• Build, inspire, and develop a high-performing global Reliability Operations team that embodies accountability, collaboration, and innovation.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Retail Big Data Modeling Architect to join our Data Modeling & Architecture team. As a key member of this team, you will be designing and implementing robust data models that support our critical business functions, including supply chain optimization, customer loyalty programs, customer journey analysis, analytics reporting, and feature development for machine learning. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders, to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility. Your expertise will drive the development of scalable and efficient data solutions that empower our organization to make informed decisions and achieve strategic objectives

What You'll Do

• Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for various domains, including supply chain, customer, product, sales, and financial data.
