What you'll do

  • Own the end-to-end hardware lifecycle including engineering, manufacturing, and field service for autonomous robots.
  • Build and scale a high-performing hardware organization from the ground up.
  • Select and manage contract manufacturing partners to ensure successful production ramps.
  • Translate system requirements from autonomy and product teams into actionable hardware decisions.
  • Drive robot profitability by reducing costs and improving operational efficiency.
  • Establish the hardware roadmap and make critical executive decisions for the program.
  • Develop a lean hiring plan to fill key gaps in the engineering and manufacturing teams.

What we're looking for

  • You must have 15+ years of experience in hardware, automotive, or a closely related field.
  • You must have at least 4-5 years of experience leading a hardware organization at the senior director or VP level.
  • You must have experience taking a hardware program from early development through volume manufacturing.
  • You should have experience building and scaling high-performing teams from the ground up.
  • You must have experience selecting and managing contract manufacturers through production ramps.
  • You must be able to manage the full hardware lifecycle including engineering, manufacturing, and field service.
  • You must be comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with aggressive timelines.
