What you'll do

Lead multiple engineering teams responsible for Tier-0 authentication, authorization, and virtual networking services.
Define the technical strategy and roadmap for critical OCI infrastructure services in partnership with Product Management.
Drive the architecture, development, and operation of highly available, secure, and scalable distributed systems.
Establish engineering best practices to improve service reliability, operational excellence, security, and performance.
Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering managers and senior engineers while building a high-performing culture.
Influence technical direction and strategic decisions across the broader OCI Networking organization.
Represent the organization in executive-level planning, architecture reviews, and customer engagements.

What we're looking for

Must have 15+ years of software engineering experience.
Must have 7+ years of experience leading large engineering organizations.
Must have 10+ years of experience designing, delivering, and operating large scale distributed systems in production environments.
Requires deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and high-availability architectures.
Must have prior experience owning and managing SaaS/IaaS services.
Must demonstrate success mentoring engineers and people managers to senior levels.
Experience leading organizations with multiple layers of engineering management is required.
Requires a BS, MS, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
