What you'll do

Provide technical leadership and direction for engineering programs to ensure alignment with goals.
Manage program schedules, budgets, and resource plans in coordination with the Program Manager.
Perform people management activities including hiring, performance management, and headcount forecasting.
Lead cross-functional teams to solve complex engineering challenges and deliver high-quality solutions.
Communicate program status and technical issues to customers, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
Identify and mitigate risks to ensure overall program success.
Support business development efforts through proposal development and customer presentations.
Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required.
Ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance is required.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics with 8 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 6 years of experience.
Technical expertise in engineering principles and practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Earned Value Management (EVM) (preferred).
PMP certification or equivalent, Systems Engineering process, defense industry standards, and AI/ML models (preferred).
