What you'll do

Lead a cross-functional team in developing, implementing, and testing a General Purpose Computing platform for shipboard programs.
Ensure the Strategic Weapon System meets all requirements across navigation, missile guidance, fire control, and launcher subsystems.
Manage engineering resources including staff assignments, capital equipment, and overall engineering scope.
Oversee large-scale system design and implementation projects within an Agile framework.
Manage program risks, opportunities, and conflict resolution to ensure project success.
Interface with internal and customer leadership to communicate project status and technical requirements.
Identify and implement opportunities for AI integration to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field with 8 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 6 years of experience.
Must possess a Department of Defense Secret security clearance at the time of hire.
U.S. citizenship is required for access to classified information.
Experience as a Systems Engineer with a strong software background and knowledge of Linux, virtualization, and networking.
Experience leading teams of 10-15 engineers through large-scale system design and implementation.
Earned Value Management System (EVMS) certification or equivalent project management experience.
Ability to work within an Agile framework.
Experience in the Fire Control domain or with Strategic Weapon Control programs is preferred.
