JOB TITLE: Senior Deputy Program Manager (DPME)
The Senior Deputy Program Manager (DPME) joins the Restricted Ground suite of programs to lead and manage the execution for a team and team of teams across multiple task orders. This role involves planning, authorizing, and monitoring engineering work while ensuring the total system is integrated, tested, and verified. The successful candidate will apply project leadership principles including SPI/CPI, Earned Value, Cost Account Management, and Statistical Process Controls. Key responsibilities include managing ground entry points, tracking metrics, and scaling Lean and Agile practices. The position requires expertise in complex environments to solve missions in cyber, RF, undersea, and interstellar space. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in identifying opportunities to apply Artificial Intelligence for continuous improvement and innovation within these high-technology defense and scientific domains.
Lead and manage the execution of multiple task orders for a team of teams.
Plan, authorize, and monitor engineering work while managing a team of technical talent.
Ensure the total system is integrated, tested, and verified according to project goals.
Apply project leadership principles including SPI/CPI, Earned Value, and Cost Account Management.
Identify, manage, and mitigate risks and issues while escalating impediments as necessary.
Direct the planning, organization, control, and completion of engineering projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines.
Lead regular communications with project customers, suppliers, project teams, and internal management.
Select appropriate standards, processes, and tools throughout the system development life cycle.
What we're looking for
U.S. citizenship is required.
Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated ability to apply project leadership principles including SPI/CPI, Earned Value, Cost Account Management (CAM), and Statistical Process Controls.
Experience designing, building, and managing ground entry points.
High level of proficiency in project management (preferred).
Solid grasp on how to scale Lean and Agile practices (preferred).
