The Senior Deputy Program Manager (DPME) joins the Restricted Ground suite of programs to lead and manage execution for a team of teams across multiple task orders. In this role, you will plan, authorize, and monitor engineering work while ensuring that systems are integrated, tested, and verified. You will be responsible for managing technical staff, overseeing project budgets and schedules, and facilitating continuous process improvement. Key responsibilities include identifying risks, tracking metrics, and applying systems thinking to complex environments. You will also utilize Lean and Agile practices while managing ground entry points. Manage the execution of multiple task orders for a team of engineers and technicians.
Plan, authorize, and monitor engineering work while ensuring systems are integrated, tested, and verified.
Apply project leadership principles including SPI/CPI, Earned Value, Cost Account Management, and Statistical Process Controls.
Identify, manage, and mitigate risks and issues to ensure projects stay within budget and schedule.
Lead the development of major strategic projects by applying engineering knowledge to achieve technical goals.
Facilitate communication between project customers, suppliers, internal management, and team members.
Select appropriate standards, processes, and tools throughout the system development life cycle.
Lead medium to large proposals by identifying cross-business unit strengths and technical requirements.
What we're looking for
U.S. citizenship is required.
Active Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics field, plus 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience.
Substantial leadership skills and proven team building and motivation skills are required.
Demonstrated ability to apply project leadership principles including SPI/CPI, Earned Value, Cost Account Management (CAM), and Statistical Process Controls for large complex programs.
Experience designing, building, and managing ground entry points is required.
High level of proficiency in project management (preferred).
Solid grasp on how to scale Lean and Agile practices (preferred).
