What you'll do

Resolve complex issues involving database performance, capacity, resiliency, stability, and replication.
Install, upgrade, patch, secure, and troubleshoot Oracle Database versions 12.2 through 19.26.
Perform testing, analysis, and modification of existing database SQL stored procedures.
Create database schemas, objects, and models based on current and future requirements.
Implement system security patches and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
Evaluate and tune existing Oracle objects to support application performance and data integrity.
Maintain an electronic repository of all database baselines, changes, and documentation.
Research and recommend technical solutions that meet program needs and operational requirements.

What we're looking for

Must be a US Citizen.
Must currently possess a Secret security clearance and be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
Must have a BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Database Management, or a related field.
Must have 5+ years of direct Oracle DBA experience working with Oracle Enterprise Editions.
Must have 7+ years of experience in Oracle Application Development and Database Administration.
Must have 5+ years of direct IT experience supporting database environments on RHEL and Windows platforms.
Must have CompTIA Security+ certification in accordance with DoW Directive 8140.01 upon hire.
Oracle 19c Certified Associate (OCA) or Oracle 19c Certified Professional (OCP) certifications are preferred.
