What you'll do

Conduct and document rigorous exploratory data analyses of potential source datasets.
Partner with threat, product, and engineering teams to identify and detect evolving threats.
Formulate, build, test, and document proofs-of-concept for new threat detection techniques.
Engineer scalable, production-ready software for proven detection methods.
Build and maintain AI-driven capabilities for data mining and machine learning applications.
Communicate project requirements and findings to stakeholders through presentations and proposals.

What we're looking for

At least four years of experience in a related field or two years with a Master's degree in a technical field.
Strong fundamentals in applied statistics and probability.
Demonstrated experience delivering advanced data mining or machine learning techniques as a lead or sole contributor.
At least two years of experience selecting/applying machine-learning techniques or mining datasets over 1 TB in volume.
Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or Scala.
Excellent communication skills for presenting to and collaborating with various stakeholders.
Experience formulating, leading, and executing applied-research projects and assisting in their production implementation.
Preferred experience in security, AI/big-data techniques for anomaly detection, or pattern recognition in complex domains.
