Senior Customer Engineer, Named

What you'll do

• Lead technical discovery and build bespoke architectures for customers across security, networking, and developer platforms.
• Deliver product demonstrations and Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to showcase Cloudflare’s capabilities.
• Manage the full customer lifecycle from initial onboarding and implementation through long-term adoption and expansion.
• Monitor customer health scores and telemetry to resolve integration bottlenecks and ensure rapid time-to-value.
• Meet a variable quota by identifying cross-sell opportunities and driving deep platform adoption for revenue growth.
• Conduct technical Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to translate platform capabilities into ROI for C-level executives.
• Utilize AI agents and automated workflows to handle administrative tasks like RFP responses and sandbox provisioning.

What we're looking for

• Experience in customer-facing technical roles such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineering.
• Broad technical expertise in web security, networking (routing, DNS, DDoS mitigation), cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
• Proven track record of operating in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environment with an understanding of SaaS metrics.
• Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills to communicate between technical details and C-suite business strategy.
• Experience building or architecting solutions using Cloudflare’s developer platform and AI ecosystem, including Workers AI, AI Gateway, and Vectorize.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, Large Language Model (LLM) orchestration, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages for writing custom integration scripts and API connectors.
• Authorization to receive software or technology controlled under U.S. export control laws without sponsorship for an export license.
