Senior Customer Engineer, Majors is a quota-carrying technical role within the GTM organization focused on driving architectural design and measurable business outcomes for enterprise customers. You will serve as a trusted advisor throughout the entire customer lifecycle, performing technical discovery, building bespoke architectures, delivering product demonstrations, and conducting Proofs of Concept across security, networking, and developer platforms. The role involves managing technical onboarding, monitoring health scores to resolve integration bottlenecks, and identifying expansion opportunities through data-driven analysis. You will utilize AI-augmented workflows to automate administrative tasks like RFP responses and sandbox provisioning. Required expertise includes web security, routing, DNS, DDoS mitigation, and cloud infrastructure. Preferred skills include experience with the Cloudflare AI stack, prompt engineering, LLM orchestration, RAG architectures, and proficiency in Python or JavaScript for creating custom integration scripts and edge computing functions.
Lead technical discovery and build bespoke architectures for customers across security, networking, and developer platforms.
Deliver product demonstrations and Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to showcase Cloudflare's capabilities.
Manage the full customer lifecycle from initial onboarding and implementation through long-term adoption.
Monitor customer health scores and telemetry to resolve integration bottlenecks and ensure rapid time-to-value.
Meet a variable quota by identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities based on product usage data.
Conduct technical Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to translate platform capabilities into ROI for C-level executives.
Use AI agents and internal platforms to automate routine tasks like RFP responses and sandbox provisioning.
What we're looking for
Experience in customer-facing technical roles such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineer (preferred).
Broad technical expertise in web security, networking, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
Proven track record of operating in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environment with an understanding of SaaS metrics.
Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills to communicate between technical details and C-suite strategy.
Experience building or architecting solutions using Cloudflare's developer platform and AI ecosystem (preferred).
Experience with prompt engineering, LLM orchestration, or RAG architectures (preferred).
Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages for custom integration scripts and API connectors (preferred).
Authorization to receive software or technology controlled under U.S. export control laws.
