Senior Customer Engineer, Digital Native Enterprise

What you'll do

• Lead technical discovery and design bespoke architectures for security, networking, and developer platforms.
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations and Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to prospective customers.
• Manage the full customer lifecycle from initial technical discovery through onboarding and expansion.
• Serve as the primary technical contact to oversee implementation and resolve integration bottlenecks.
• Identify and drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities based on platform usage data.
• Conduct technical Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to translate platform metrics into C-level ROI.
• Advise stakeholders on architecture best practices, security posture, and long-term platform strategy.

What we're looking for

• Must have experience in customer-facing technical roles such as Solutions, Customer, Sales, or Forward Deployed Engineering.
• Must possess a deep understanding of the "Life of a Request" on the internet.
• Must have broad expertise in web security, networking protocols (BGP, DNS, TCP/IP), and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Must demonstrate AI-native development skills by integrating AI-augmented workflows into daily development cycles.
• Must possess exceptional communication skills to engage with both technical engineers and C-suite executives.
• Preferred proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Go for writing integration scripts and edge computing functions.
• Preferred experience with Cloudflare's Developer and AI platforms including Workers, AI Gateway, and Vectorize.
• Must be authorized to receive software or technology controlled under U.S. export control laws.
