Senior Core Infrastructure Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain highly available, scalable distributed systems for managing physical cloud assets.
• Implement horizontal and vertical scaling using distributed state management and data plane platforms.
• Design fault-tolerant components with redundancy, replication, and automatic failover mechanisms.
• Build and customize dashboards, telemetry systems, and alerting mechanisms to monitor component health.
• Diagnose, debug, and resolve system issues while designing automation scripts for operational troubleshooting.
• Apply advanced security measures including encryption and access controls for multi-tenant environments.
• Maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts and tools for managing cloud infrastructure.
• Execute performance and load testing, including fault-injection scenarios to evaluate system correctness.

What we're looking for

• Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Candidates must have 3 to 5+ years of experience.
• Strong grasp of Computer Science concepts including data structures, algorithms, and programming paradigms is required.
• Proficiency in Java or Python is required.
• Experience building highly available services using common service-oriented design patterns and communication protocols is required.
• Experience with production operations and best practices for deploying and troubleshooting quality code is required.
• Ability to communicate technical ideas verbally and in writing, including proposals, design specs, and architecture diagrams is required.
• Experience building control plane/data plane solutions for cloud native companies (preferred).
