As a Staff Compliance and Safety Technical Program Manager within the Data Center Platform Engineering Group, you will lead the planning, execution, governance, and cross-functional coordination of compliance, product safety, regulatory readiness, and certification activities. You will manage complex programs for AI and hyperscale server platforms throughout the full product lifecycle, from initial architecture through production ramp. Your daily work involves coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and legal teams to ensure hardware meets electrical, mechanical, and environmental requirements. You will translate system capabilities into actionable compliance plans, track program health metrics, manage risks, and coordinate with labs for testing and documentation. The role requires expertise in EMC and safety programs for hardware systems, requiring a background in engineering disciplines such as Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering to solve complex regulatory challenges in the server platform space.
Lead complex compliance programs and regulatory activities (EMC and safety) for AI and hyperscale server platforms.
Translate system capabilities into actionable compliance plans with defined milestones and deliverables.
Manage the full product lifecycle from early architecture through design, validation, production release, and sustaining.
Identify compliance risks early to develop mitigation plans and communicate trade-offs to stakeholders.
Coordinate with labs and cross-functional teams to ensure testing, documentation, and certification readiness.
Track program health metrics and provide status updates for executive-level reviews.
Interface directly with customers to manage requirements and resolve compliance issues.
Drive continuous improvement and mentor team members on compliance standards and execution excellence.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Master's degree (preferred).
Relevant compliance, safety, regulatory, or program management certifications (preferred).
Experience leading compliance and safety programs throughout hardware lifecycle stages (preferred).
Expertise in hardware systems with cross-domain experience (preferred).
