As a Senior COE Project Manager for Packaging & Labeling at Healthineers, you will drive and manage critical labeling and packaging initiatives, leveraging your expertise in medical device regulations and automation technologies. Your day-to-day responsibilities include developing detailed project plans, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with quality standards while delivering cost-effective solutions. You will utilize lean sigma methodologies and standardized project management tools to oversee projects without direct reporting lines, facilitating communication across global stakeholders. This role requires a deep understanding of the medical device landscape, including IFUs, User Manuals, and package engineering, along with experience in continuous improvement and PDP processes. Strong software skills, particularly in Excel, Project, and PowerPoint, are essential, as is the ability to mentor team members on project management tools and methodologies.
Define and maintain detailed project plans for labeling and packaging initiatives.
Lead project teams without direct reports using lean sigma methodologies.
Develop and present comprehensive project status updates to senior leadership.
Identify critical path activities and remove roadblocks throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure alignment of business resources with project scope and unique requirements.
Implement change management strategies for process and technology improvements.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Packaging and Labeling, Project Management or related field required.
8+ years of experience as a project or program manager focused on continuous improvement.
Deep expertise in lean sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
Proven ability to lead large-scale projects with cross-functional teams spanning multiple global sites.
Experience in the life sciences industry, specifically in packaging and labeling areas.
Familiarity with medical device regulations impacting packaging and labeling processes.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
