What you'll do

Design and implement automation frameworks using Terraform and Kubernetes to manage monitoring infrastructure across AWS and GCP.
Productize core components like Grafana and custom Terraform providers into reliable services for internal engineering teams.
Deploy and manage the full monitoring stack within highly isolated, air-gapped environments for secure customer segments.
Participate in an on-call rotation to provide technical expertise, perform root-cause analysis, and maintain strict SLAs.
Utilize AI-assisted tools as the default method for coding, refactoring, infrastructure scaffolding, and log analysis.
Develop and evolve the team's internal playbooks for AI-driven development practices, including prompts and evaluation guardrails.

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience in distributed systems, API platforms, infrastructure engineering, observability, or DevOps at scale.
Proficiency with Kubernetes (K8s) and Terraform.
Hands-on experience managing infrastructure in AWS and/or GCP.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python.
Experience managing or extending monitoring tools like Grafana, messaging systems like Kafka, ElasticSearch, or caching frameworks.
Understanding of authN/authZ security protocols for managed isolated or restricted network environments.
Fluency in AI-assisted development using coding assistants to manage IaC, testing, and automation pipelines.
