What you'll do
- Act as a technical advisor and solutions architect for strategic partners integrating Reddit’s advertising APIs.
- Design and prototype proof-of-concept solutions within both internal systems and partner codebases.
- Collaborate with external engineering teams to optimize performance, resolve integration gaps, and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Lead the onboarding, testing, and pre-launch support phases to ensure successful implementation for partners.
- Advocate for partner needs internally to influence product roadmaps and platform priorities.
- Manage high-impact escalations by providing actionable direction to resolve technical blockers quickly.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of software development experience with a track record of owning end-to-end technical projects and cross-org coordination.
- Hands-on coding expertise in modern programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or Node.js.
- Experience in backend or API development and the ability to prototype in partner environments.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, OAuth2/OpenID Connect, and modern SDK patterns.
- Ability to communicate complex technical and business ideas to internal leadership and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the AdTech ecosystem and experience with ads partnerships is preferred.
- Experience contributing to developer experience through tooling, documentation, or ecosystem standards is preferred.
