Senior Associate, Systems Engineering

What you'll do

• Lead the engineering ownership of SATCOM VSAT product lines including design, development, and sustainment.
• Develop system-level interconnect diagrams, cable assemblies, and bill of material documentation.
• Perform custom system configuration and integration based on specific customer and program requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis and provide direct manufacturing support for product line issues.
• Provide technical support for fielded systems and units to resolve customer issues.
• Manage the technical schedule, cost evaluations, and requirements for new product development.
• Develop and implement system specifications and flow down requirements to lower-level specifications.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and cross-functional teams to achieve product line objectives.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 0-2 years of prior related experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
• Knowledge of SATCOM VSAT systems, RF networking, wired networking, MIL-STD data links, and modems (preferred).
• SATCOM product development experience from initial conception through design release and manufacturing readiness (preferred).
• Experience with international travel to support installation and maintenance of complex customer systems (preferred).
• Experience with proposal development, technical writing, project management, and government contracting (preferred).
