Senior Associate Guidance Navigation and Control Engineer

What you'll do

• Perform GNC design and analysis for tactical and strategic missile systems.
• Conduct trajectory shaping and tune guidance and autopilot parameters to meet customer requirements.
• Generate and modify aerospace vehicle models and simulations using first principles.
• Implement algorithms and modify simulations in a C/C++ coding environment following SCM processes.
• Develop high-fidelity component and subsystem models in MATLAB/Simulink for tuning and verification.
• Analyze real-time and post-test telemetry data to support system-level verification and mission activities.
• Investigate unexpected results by examining physics, modeling assumptions, software implementation, and data quality.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace or Electrical Engineering and minimum of 2 years of related engineering experience.
• Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of related experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of related engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.
• Missile or Launch Vehicle navigation and guidance experience/coursework (preferred).
• Experience using MATLAB and Simulink for engineering analysis, modeling, or algorithm development (preferred).
• Programming experience in C, C++, Fortran, or Python (preferred).
• U.S. citizens.
