Senior Associate, Field Engineering

What you'll do

• Install, configure, and maintain electronic equipment, wiring, and software programs to meet specific requirements.
• Provide on-site engineering assistance for hardware and software integration efforts and test events.
• Perform in-flight and post-flight test engineering support for airborne sensor systems.
• Troubleshoot complex system problems down to the line replaceable unit level.
• Fabricate or assemble mechanical assemblies according to released engineering drawings.
• Identify hardware and software design flaws and assist with technical corrections and resolutions.
• Provide ground and flight demonstration support to partner companies and potential customers.
• Maintain hardware and software configurations on computer networks, including simulation labs and aircraft mission equipment.

What we're looking for

• Must possess a Bachelor’s degree with related experience, a Graduate degree with experience, or experience without a degree.
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance, or currently hold an active Secret clearance.
• Advanced knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, computer hardware, and software applications.
• Advanced knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology for product design and production.
• Ability to troubleshoot system problems to the line replaceable unit level.
• Ability to fabricate or assemble mechanical assemblies per released engineering drawings.
• Ability to install electronic equipment, machines, wiring, or software programs to meet specifications.
• U.S. citizens.
