The Senior Applied AI Engineer– Creative Systems & Brand Intelligence, Adobe Express joins the Assets and Collaboration pillar to develop next-generation AI-native creative systems. Your daily work involves prototyping and productionizing intelligent creative tooling, including on-brand defaults and AI-assisted content generation. You will utilize technologies such as TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Web Components while integrating LLM-powered capabilities, Retrieval Augmented Generation, and agentic workflows. The role addresses the technical challenge of maintaining brand consistency and governance across collaborative platforms. You must develop evaluation frameworks for hallucination reduction and consistency scoring to ensure reliable, high-quality creative outputs within complex, multi-user enterprise environments.

What you'll do

Own end-to-end system design and architecture for frontend experiences, AI-powered workflows, and platform integrations.
Build intelligent creative systems that leverage enterprise brand frameworks, reusable assets, and design systems.
Develop AI-powered experiences to enhance brand consistency, asset organization, and creative collaboration for enterprises.
Rapidly prototype and validate next-generation AI-native creative workflows and intelligent creative tooling.
Design and integrate LLM-powered and multimodal AI workflows into production-grade systems with a focus on reliability and scalability.
Develop evaluation and quality frameworks for AI systems, including brand compliance, hallucination reduction, and consistency scoring.
Take full ownership of features from technical design and prototyping through implementation, deployment, and operational excellence.
Operate, monitor, and continuously improve systems with a focus on scalability, observability, security, and performance.

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience building scalable full-stack applications, distributed systems, and modern web platforms.
Strong experience with modern JavaScript and frontend frameworks including TypeScript, React, Web Components, Node.js, and MobX.
Deep understanding of web standards, browser internals, rendering pipelines, and modern frontend architecture patterns.
Hands-on experience integrating AI and LLM-powered capabilities like RAG, agentic workflows, and multimodal AI systems into production.
Experience designing evaluation frameworks and quality metrics for AI systems, including hallucination detection and safety guardrails.
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with creative tooling, design systems, or scalable collaboration platforms (preferred).
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud or Adobe Express ecosystems (preferred).
